A story with the “dazzling light of glory” at its center, like a mirror in which to see your own reflection. A furnishing to ignite your floor like an Olympic gold medal, an entirely handcrafted product made with a low-warp loomand finished with precious raw copper inserts. A wrestling mat to mutually challenge each other to overcome ordinary visions.
Entirely handmade by a young textile manufacturer from Abruzzo using a low-warp loom, according to the tradition of one of the few tapestry studios that have made artistic tapestries in Italy since the ‘60s. The tapestry, as is traditional, has a cotton warp, with the weft in 100% extra fine Italian Merino wool. The back maintains the classic color nodes. In keeping with the concept of being for two people, the carpet is made of two halves of around 110×225 cm. It is completed with raw copper inserts, with a handmade satin finish, with small irregularities that make it unique.

CONCEPT AND DESIGN
It’s possible for the customer to choose the inner ring color.
PARTICIPANTS 2 RISK LEVEL 7
The exercise must be performed with a friend. Its goal is reaching the maximum amplitude of imagination, throwing it into the future and beyond one’s boundaries. This exercise does not involve one’s private life, but rather the public sphere. It requires a medium time and it is recommended to perform it just in one session, with no breaks.
First, picture yourselves as two wrestlers and chose a common fighting ground. This is a precise topic to discuss – for example a question concerning the future. Then, one athlete starts to conceive an image and narrate it. The opponent responds with new questions, attacks each detail which might be taken for granted or banal and pushes the other athlete outside their passivity zone. In order to disbalance the opponent’s imagination, you will have to stretch your own limits by creating unexpected visions. You will have to be as agile and bold as you can and hit your opponent with burning thoughts and blazing words. Knowing your own inclinations is fundamental (see exercise no. 2). First of all, ask yourself: what disbalances my imagination?
Identify the time frame beyond which your own mind struggles to go. This could be a few weeks, 5 years, 30 years, our deaths, the extinction of our species…Try to go beyond this limit as hard as you can. Progressively transform the details of your story by stretching your imagination. It gets more and more difficult as you go beyond this limit. The athlete must learn how to manage grand amplitude throws and unusual thoughts. What makes the future too similar to the present? What elements seem impossible to transform, as if they were ineluctable? Don’t be afraid of gain control over your opponent’s weaknesses. Recurring elements highlight unbalanced spots to attack and twist. Don’t dodge your opponent’s moves but rather consider them as an opportunity to give up your defense and imagine further.
